Barcelona: Divertir… e comer!

Ditada que está o fim da descrição da jornada, há ainda espaço para umas dicas sobre comer e divertir.

Nesta nossa incursão pela capital da Catalunha petiscamos em vários lugares mas um é digno de comentário: o "Ciudad Condal"!

Tal como a maioria dos bons momentos na vida, descobrimos o Ciudad Condal por mero acaso. Era fim de tarde. Procurávamos algo para petiscar. E, claro, que queríamos tapas! Pertinho do hotel, resolvemos dar a volta ao quarteirão e demos de caras com este espaço (Rambla de Catalunya, 18). Por fora pareceu simpático e, como tal, resolvemos espreitar e logo três indicadores saltaram à vista: estava cheio de catalães (a avaliar pelas conversas); as tapas visíveis nas várias vitrinas tinham um aspeto delicioso e havia quatro lugares ao balcão!

Após esta decisão, o maior problema foi parar de comer e sair!

As tapas, da imensidão que provámos, eram todas deliciosas, bem servidas e bem cozinhadas. A sangria era divinal. E o curto lanche entrou pela noite dentro e transformou-se num banquete ajantarado bem comido e bem regado. Quando o repasto terminou demo-nos conta que a casa estava “à pinha” e a fila dava a volta ao quarteirão! Até na hora em que encontramos esta pérola os deuses das viagens nos bafejaram. Decididamente, ao voltar a Barcelona ou pela primeira vez por lá, o “Ciudad Condal” é um dos lugares de visita obrigatória.

Barcelona: Fun... and eat!

Dictated that is the end of the description of the journey, there is still room for some tips on eating and fun.

In our excursion into the capital of Catalonia we eat in various places but one is worthy of comment: Ciudad Condal!

Like most of the good times in life, we found the Ciudad Condal by chance. It was late afternoon. Looking for something to snack. And of course, we wanted tapas! Close to the hotel, we decided to go around the block and we stumbled upon this space (Rambla de Catalunya, 18). On the outside seemed friendly and, as such, we decided to peek. Then three indicators jumped in sight: was full of Catalans (judging from conversations); visible tapas had a delicious aspect and there were four places at the counter!

After this decision, the biggest problem was getting up to leave!

The tapas, the endlessness that we proved, were all delicious, well served and well cooked. The sangria was divine. And the short snack came into a banquet. As the meal ended we realized that the house was "packed," and the queue went around the block! Definitely coming back to Barcelona or the first time around, the "Ciudad Condal" is one of the must see places.
